I did some back at Christmas. At first I had a hard time, then after cleaning out the bobbin area and under the foot feed, I had no more problems. Also try slowing your machine down. Hope this helps.

Thanks for answering, I will try your suggestions and hope this does it as I truly had plans for these snowflakes for next Christmas.
