Hooray! It's finally raining here in California. We expect about of week of rain. I hope it will help us out of the drought. Water rationing is no fun.

Yeah, we have been in the worse drought in 75 years here in N.Ga. for the last 2-3. It is very hard to ration more than we do normally. After you get finished with the rain how about sending it cross country?

In the 70's we had rationing and that was no fun, specially since I had added twins to the family. Ever since then I am so careful with water that it would be hard to cut back further if rationing was based on last years usage.

I remember the 70's well. If it's brown flush it down. If it's yellow let it mellow. But this time they did exactly what you said. They wanted us to cut down a certain percentage based on what our previous usage was for the same month last year. For those of us already conserving because we thought it was the right thing to do we get penalized in our bills now for going over our allotted gallons.

Better rain than snow unless it turns to ice. Wherever did you get this cute picture? I saved it, thanks*

I wish they would load up some of our snow banks, and move them to where everyone needs water. I suppose hauling, melting, and treating it is still to expensive. hugs*
