the feet that came with it are interchangeable with my D1. I had been looking for a good older machine. I was sewing with a Walmart brothers that I hated. I have been using it all night and having so much fun with it

Michele, it is wonderful that you got it dl and have it up - but the picture is very small - can you load it here - for us to view - up close?

Ohhhh. So nice. I haven't gotten my craft room set up yet. I am too busy reading posts.
it took me a long time to start setting this room up finally got tired of sewong in the dining room LOL this room is a work in progress though I started setting it up this fall so the walls are painted for a little girls room still I am waiting until spring and repaint LOL

Glad you found one you liked. It looks a lot like one I have sitting because I don't want to put money into fixing it. Mine is an old brown one from the last 70's so I don't think yours is that old. They really are workhorses of machines. I used it until about 5 years ago!!! I think the motor is freezing up. They won't give me anything for it so it just sits waiting to see if hubby can tinker with it. After several trade-ups I have an SE and love it.

this is a 1980 machine and yes they are work horses, that is why I wanted one so bad they are great. I have been sewing fleece mittens and they flow threw this machine like paper am so happy. thank you all for your comments *4 all
