I stitched this out on one sheet of vilene and it pushed the tiny leaves through .so I ended up using 3 layers and it stiched beautifuly.
I am making these for my mother in law.for mothers day,using a different color on each one.

I have a wonderful mother in law and love her very much. She just published a book called Suddon death I have been reading it and I have cried my eyes out what she went through after she had a heart attack in 2003 and was given 6 months to live.

Lena Mae, this is very lovely and I am glad that you stuck with it - this will be a very wonderful gift for you MIL and I know she will adore all 8 of them in their own colors - they will be a colorful addition to her table and more than anything - she will remember with each use - that you made them for her, too.
