Does anyone know how to keep a machine's hoops from sounding so noisy all the time(plastic on plastic)?

After I hoop my material, I push the inner hoop down below the outside hoop just a little.

I am not sure of exactly what are you asking but, maybe putting something like a piece of felt between the hoops will help out.

What machine do you have? My Brother is pretty noisy but I'm not sure it's the hoop exactly. We just turn the TV up.

Karen, check all the screws and make sure that they are tight and you might want to ask your dealer to look at it - it might need an adjustment.
