Sounds like out kinder kids go to the same school... we have 22 kids, 5 teachers and a "helper". I decided to skip the sucker covers, and the freestanding lace things, and make something that I thought they might really like... I got one of those ITH tic-tac-toe games and am doing that. Pink and purple and white for the girls, red and black for the boys. I thought it was something that they might like to play with, does not cost too much and is pretty quick. I think there used to be one of these on Sew forum for free...don't know if it still is, but would not hurt to look.

Hope that helps.

Mary, I think boys will like the hearts too. I did some of the cute's FSL bracelet hearts a couple of weeks ago and my 7 years old boy loved them so much he asked me to do them for his class mates. If you are worried about colors you can always do blue hearts foe the boys, red and white look really nice too.

didn't "Sick" have some sucker or lollipop covers the other day or maybe they were Valentine that you stuck a sucker in. I don't have boy designs either.

MM I taught Kindergarten for years. you would be suprised what the boys like at that age. I was thinking mayb a star for the boys and if you want to make it really cool use glow in the dark thread.

You've got some good ideas MM me I would probably go for sucker covers or maybe some pencil or crayon Bags with their names & a heart on them or just initials. *

I used the cake pan in the link to baked bunch brownies and sprinkled with powder sugar and filled the heart middle with strawberry jelly. I brought the big box with 4 bags of brownies mix inside from sam's club like $8. I made enough brownies hearts for teachers, kids and even after care ladies. I guess you have more time and more money to do the FSL. I don't have both, so I did brownies hearts.

Mary,
Do the hearts, just change the color for the boys. Heaven to Betsy, no pink as my 4 year old grandson will say. If the hearts are frilly, take the frilly off and just do a plain red heart with a white outline.

Mary,
go to eddydesigns http://users.skynet.be/eddydesigns/eddydesigns.htm

that should take you to page 4. He has FSL elephant fish frog horse deer. On page 7 there is an owl, a duck and penguin and on page 12 there are some fish, kinda ugly fish to me, but colorful. You could sew them out and put 09 in the middle of them.
Hope this helps.
