the exact same name as the design - Embird will pick it up (or you can load it in using the color palette - load command). I tried it out on my "sweet design" I bought from EmbroideryLibrary and it worked!!!! My kitten design - has the correct color fur now. What a revelation!!!!! Oh, my - I hope this makes sense!

Hey, glad you got that one solved! That's not how Digitizer Pro works, which is what I have, but it's a good idea if you have Embird. My colors are Janome colors, that's what EmbLibrary seems to digitize Janome in, then I just substitute the threads I have, not one of which is a Janome color. Close enough, always works out ok. Thanks for the tip, hope it works for others having a color problem. That can be such a pain. Take care, Marji
