thanks MM, my sister had gotten one in Toronto before we left for Florida and Wal-Mart had them on for $298 so decided it would come in handy in my travels as it has wireless and camera and mike in the screen...a little hard on the eyes as the screen is tiny but don't stay on it for too long at a time, too busy enjoying my vacation. How about making your own pattern. Measure the laptop size, add some extra, decide how wide/deep it is required, cut a long piece of fabric to join the front and back together. Add some pockets in and or out. Come up with some brilliant designs to decorate it. Handles - short or long or both. Think I am getting a little carried away BUT it would not be difficult to make your own pattern. Then it would be exactly what you want. Happy sewing

How nice sqdancer, why not look for a reg. notebook or even a Bible carrier. They may b a little small but u could enlarge to fit your need. *4U

I got one of those mini Acer laptops for Christmas. I was looking for a case when I happened to spot my insulated lunch bag. It fits in there perfectly! Has a pocket for the power cord and the insulation padding is great for protecting the laptop.

great idea babyred but already kidnapped my insulated lunch bag for my printer for my digital camera, also a perfect fit, sounds like it might be a different shape to yours ...thanks for the suggestion...

Thanks for all the ideas cute buddies, went to the flea market and found a really nice bag, leather, shoulder strap and good size pockets. Since I will be headed back to Canada on Friday wanted to have something to carry my little friend and this will work out very nicely, it was $25 but figured it would probably cost me as much with zippers and padding etc..have some headliner so think I will add that just for extra cushioning....love you all for your help Hugs xxxxx
