ok what the heck is this solar thread i am seeing advertised is it good has anyone used it before it just looks like pretty pastele colors to me

It is the opposite of the glow in the dark thread...you stitch it inside in a lite color then when you go into the sun it changes color ie... the pastels you mentioned..

It is a color changing thread, it changes colors as the light hits it. Indors it looks like if it was pastel colors and and outside it looks darker. Kind of cool don't it?

It is as the others have answered. I found it nothing to get excited over. I did a tee, and put it in projects. about 2 wks ago. The colors are very, very pastel.

I've used it. It's white indoors and changes to light pastels in the sun. It's interesting for a young child to see the colours change, but I found the colours rather disappointing to be honest.

Not as bright as I had expected. Not much of an impact, rather bland.
