Hi, hope I can help,first, have you dissolved your pieces? if you haven't, what I do is trim your wss close to the stitching of your base, and also the sections that join the base,using a small zig zig stitch or satin stich attached the side panels to the base, then dissolve these joined pieces. When nearly dry, I then join the side pieces the same as before, I found it a lot easier to join the side pieces this way than fully dry,,, have fun with it and can't wait to see your bowl
