Do you draw your model using your mouse? I find that it is not very accurate ... is there another method? Thanks *

Dear Sissi, I draw the pictures, scan them to the computer, and if they need to resize, crop, etc, I work with photoshop pro. Maybe this is an old fashionable method? :) Love&hugs

Hi Sissi, I have found that your drawings will only be as good as the mouse you are using. I use only Logitech brand and I prefer their Laser cordless models. They are a bit more expensive but worth it for the precision with which you can work, regardless of what technique you use, so yes I do digitise directly with or without a picture to digitise from.

I have a Wacom drawing tablet, that works great as you have a more natural way of drawing than with a mouse. As I can't draw on my laptop without a mouse anyway (I really hate fiddling with that touch pad) I now and then plug in the tablet - but I often forget and use the mouse.

Wacom tablet and mouse for me... get a largest size tablet you can afford... makes a difference.

And I use Photoshop and Illustrator. They're pretty costly, but you may be able to get a student to buy you an academic copy for a whole lot less expensive and they're the same versions I believe.
Oh yes, i know that photoshop is very expensive. In France 1500€ :o(

Good question and answers. Unfortunately I can't draw, so I have to use clipart or the scanner. Those of you that can are truly blessed.

I have a tablet but don't like it much. I digitize with my mouse. Just a matter of preference and skill which one you use I guess :)
