I did some jeansjackets for my daughter and GD, but I have used stabalizer. They turned out well.

I sew on denim a lot. I mostly use TAW stab and I have also used iron on stab. I used the reagular 11 needle because the denim wasn't too thick. However; I am still learning about denim ;? I messed up one item but I still wear it ;0 I didn't know that if the denim has stretch in it you don't pull it...YUCK. I also use to run into a lot of puckering. YES, let's learn TOGETHER ;D *2U

I did on denim once to cover a hole on my grandson's trousers. I ironed on a stabilizer on the back because i had to cover the hole.Used the same needle as usual.that was the first and only time I did.
