Here is a hot pad from a Design by Cute.. stitched out perfectly..this one is for the hubby ... I put a picture of the back of one so you can see the backing that I use.. works great for hot pads and pot holders..

I purchased at Joann's and also Nancy's Notions .. it is called Iron Quick Quilted fabric.. It is pricey but you only need small amounts at a time..
