Good morning, Barb (it is 7.44am over here in Newcastle) thanks for the flowers. I have just been looking at your profile and was so saddened to hear that your husband died not very long ago. My heartfelt sympathy to you - but seeing you here on this site I know you have many friends who are supporting you. Even though we can't see each other - this site brings us together in other ways. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Also big thanks for the lovely Backpack instructions. It looks fabulous. My little 3 year old grandson is going to be the recipient. That's when I finish off the beautiful "Tubby" Raggedy alphabet. It is going slowly - lots of stitches per letter - but it is absolutely stunning. God bless. Love Chris
By the way that picture was only taken on Australia Day 26th January. So it is very recent. I haven't dyed my hair for over 2 years now and I am very silver grey - looks kind of elegant don't you think? Not blowing my own horn here to much but I am very lucky to have good strong thick hair. Must be from my Mum's side as she has lovely hair. (She is only 18 years older than me and people often think we are sisters - do you think I should take that as a compliment or an insult? - no only joking, she is a good old stick and not bad for 75!)
