My dear Monica, I think 3/4ths of the endorsers only knowledge they have of the product is what they get when posing for pics to b used. We'll truthfully never know. They endorse to make lots of money from us. What u read about them is usually PR written so unless u have actual face to face, hands on knowledge who knows what they can do. Then there's the other 1/4th who do know something about how to use what they endorse, but how do we know the truth? there is really no way to ascertain this info. *

Marie Osmond is a well known personality in the state of Utah and has lived most of her life doing all sort of wonderful things in her community with her crafts. When she was small her mother used to share sewing techniques with her while on the road. She grew up with the knowledge of how to make her own costumes and sewing is part of her background. She loves working with quilts and laces, mostly. I went to a workshop in Provo, UT once and she was stitching up a storm on an embroidery and sewing machine. You could tell by how she handled the machine, that it was not a put on. She is a lovely lady and has so many talents that it is amazing. I hear she has a new fabric line for quilter's coming out soon, too. Hope this helps. Loretta

I have no idea Monica, but all I know is I grew up watching those Osmond boys when I was a little girl and saying I wanted to marry one of them because they were so cute! LOL... I think Marie Osmond is a stunning woman... holds herself well in the Hollywood eye and has endured on and off the camera a lot of unnecessary criticism... she rocks in my opinion. :-) And yes, I'm sure she sews, cooks, cleans, and does what we all girls do... that family is down to earth and REAL. People we can truly relate to. And yes, those brothers are still cute! LOL.

She truly does put out a nice line of lace designs. And yes, I'm positive she has her hands in the development of that product... she probably stitches them out herself personally.

I don't know IF she sews..BUT I do have one of her lace angels...haven't stitched it out but it sure is beautiful!

Not Changing the subject, but one of her nephews was in the top 36, I think, in American Idol. I know I saw him and I know he went to Hollywood.

Monica, that is great question. Since we live in the freedom of speach country, no one should PROHIBIT you to ask or QUESTION you why you ask or INTIMIDATE you for asking.

I agree with you about the endorsement by celebrities. Maria is celebrity and divorced mom and singer and doll design ideas provider. I don't think she has the time to sew. Sewing requires tremedous of time and patient and right atmosphere and right mood. I believe she may contribute ideas to those products that she endorced. I don't believe that she actually sat down and sew those products. As far as she is a down home girl has nothing to do with whether she actually sews.

About her mother, you did not question about whether her mother was good mother and teacher. I don't see the point why her mother had something to do with your question.

Hi mad14kt...good question..I asked the same myself...I think she does, all of the Osmond people seem to be very fammily oriented so I am pretty sure she knows how to sew. She is a very talented girl, hard working, she probably uses sewing to relax,etc., also she design lots of beautiful things and I do not think she will put her name on something unless she knows is a good product.
