Congratulations! Buy a dozen blankets, put some pretty designs on them all and for each new arrival just add name and date of birth. Should keep you sewing all through the year and leave time to cuddle and enjoy them all.

Sure You can! I did 4 twin size quilts and 3 crib size in just over 3 months. And I'm NOT a quilter. Of course the 3 crib size started out as 1 twin until I found out the expected baby was actually 3!! Congratulations on all the new babies coming into your life. I believe a new baby is God's way of confirming to us that life is good and will continue.Your life must be Very Good.

Enjoy them all, I have only one baby coming ( a good friends daughter )and I would love to have all your little one's coming to visit. Seems my sons has decided that they are in no hurry. I just told them that I do not want to be granny in my 70's, as I won't be able to babysit for them. !!!! You will finish those blankets, because "where there is a wil there is a way" my mom always says

Sure you can. Buy a yard of fleece for each blanket. Cut each yard into a square, and finish the edges. Embroider a simple design in one corner and have them ready for the name and birthdate in the other corner. Stitch that out as soon as you get the news. You can make one in about an hour or so depending on the design. I have a pack from OESD of simple baby designs that I use for these. Everyone loves them, plus they are simple and fast to make. I posted one in projects a while back.
