I made a plain pillowcase with the farm fabric and had a strip about 8 inches wide left over and thought it would be ok to go along the top edge of another pillowcase, but I didnt have another fabric to use for the rest of it so I had a bag of calico scraps that toned in real well with the fabric. Then I discovered that the pieces were not wide enough for the pillowcase measurements. I figured that since it would have to have a join in it that I would just chop it all up and make the patch work on the front and plain on the back. I had got the cow designs last year and had been keeping them for Cameron and thought this was the perfect time for them and so this is the result. I had one little piece of the printed fabric left and so I made a pocket on the top edge so he could put a tissue or his cows in it while he layed on it. I embroidered Happy 2nd Birthday and who it was from for when he is older so he will know I made it for him on the inside flap. Turned out well for scraps.

Thank you, it will go with the plain pillowcase I made for him. I think he will think the pocket will be niffty when he knows that you can put something in it.

Thank you, only have one complaint about one of the cows and that is that the last colour wouldnt sew out, so I went without it after walking back over it a couple of times thats the one with the calves. It was only the black on his nose.
