Has anyone use Marathon(spelling?) embroidery thread? What do you think of its quality vs price? Thanks for any feed back.

I use Marathon thread a lot. I probably have 30-40 spools of it. My Brother Quatro loves it, and the thread has a very nice sheen. I buy mine at Terradon for $1.75 for 1000m. I think that you'll like it. *4U

I have used Marathon, in fact I own quite a few spools... have no trouble with it. Equally, I like Metro thread, and it's less expenive... EXCELLENT quality.

I have been using Marathon thread for 10 years now. I have a Janome 300E. My machine loves this thread. I started using metro thread this year, but the only way I can get it to work is on a metal thread stand on the right side of my machine. The metro spools are shorter and bigger around than the marathon spools. grannieannie

i usually stock up on marathon thread at the quilt show each year. i have several large spools (5000m) of colors that i use most often and several spools of speciality threads. their stabliziers are fine too.
