Brian, Gail, and I thank all of you for your wonderful prayers and thoughts. I know poor Gail feels like her world has been shattered. Just 2 months ago her MoM(80) had 3 heart attacks in a row & actually flatlined 1 of those times and they finally gor her Mom stable & she came home. Then just a few days ago she found out her sister's cancer had returned & they are just giving her 2 to 3 months max. Now on top of that her husband(My son) has a heart attack at work at 42. This is so scary! It is like everything is happening all at once. I have gotten to the point where I am scared to answer the phone. I'm scared & hurting but I can not imagine how Gail is feeling right now. She is a very good religious person and tries to live her life right. She has had 3 awful things happen to her family in just 3 months time. She & my son seem to be a match made in heaven. All of this seems like a nightmare! Poor Gail is like a walking zombie tonight. Gail made a world of difference in my son's life. He waited until he was 41 to get married and if I could have gone out & hand picked a wife for him I could have done no better than Gail! She is just a kind and loving person. She spent all day today cleaning her sisters house for her. That is where she was when Brian called her. Her sister is going home with a hospice nurse taking care of her as soon as possible. It is 3:25 A.M. and sleep does not come. I am so scared! I am so glad to have someone to talk to at this hour. I am going to lie down for a few minutes. Tomorrow is going to be a long day. Thank you for your prayers and for just being there for me. Linda

Let's hope that because events conspired to have you there at the right time, that it means the Lord is not ready to take him home yet. Maybe this is sort of Brian's 'wake up call' to get his act together. Prayers are for him and the family through this tough time. Let's hope he gets the message and starts taking better care of himself. He has a new wife to think about and not just himself. After 41 years, it is hard to get used to the idea that he has a responsibilty to someone other than himself.

Linda, Hang in there, Sweetie. He appears to be in very good hands and all the prayers being send from here will be heard. You have to hang in there so that your not in there with him. Dear Linda, just came on site it is 9.00pm here in Australia (east coast) and I have read your request for prayers. I certainly will hold you and your family up to the Lord. I know what you are going through and I can empathise with you. God is right beside you and he has His Angels watching over you and Gail. Brian by the sounds of things is in good hands. We must pray also for the doctors and nursing staff who are looking after your son. Get some rest dear lady and I pray tomorrow will be better for you. My thoughts are with you, your son ans his wife in this difficult time. Your son seems to be in the right place and may completely recover and change his lifestyle to a more healthy one. I wish you and your DIL all the strength you need to cope and feel loved and cared for by the Lord.

Linda...You have heard the saying "been there, done that???" My brother had the same thing at age 30...he had a quadruple bypass 3 days later..(didn't have time to do the 5 he really needed) It was a great wake up call to him and the rest of the family to eat right and exercise...YOU and ALL of you family are in MY thoughts and PRAYERS. Don't be afraid to CALL someone for help, maybe somebody from community services in your town or from a local church sould come and help you get your cart loaded. DON'T be afraid to ASK! Barb

OH LInda, I've only just seen your post. Please know you have my prayers for your Son's speedy and full recovery.
I could not imagine one of my sons having a heart attack. You need to be strong, you need to stay positive and you need to have Faith.

What a very scary time for you ... try to get some rest if you possibly can - you need to take care of yourself also. The doctors will take good care of your son and God is watching over you and your family. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Oh my goodness, this must have been a big shock to you, I had that happen to my Father when he was already 80 years old, and I know how you feel. As a mother of two sons I also know that I would be lost should something happen to any of them, but I know God is looking over them, and so he will over your son.
My father is now 85 years old (Young as he will say), and has two stents. He is living a lovely active live. The doctors are so good today.
Of course I will keep all of you in my prayers. Huggs for you all. Marietta

I'm so sorry, Linda, I just saw this. My brother had 4 bypasses at 42, so it can happen to young people. I will pray for healing for your whole family, and your ability to get there and have your cart & be able to get help in the hospital. I hope this is a wake-up call to everybody (Cuties included!) to take care of your heart, and keep an aspirin in your purse or pocket to chew if you're getting a heart attack. It may save your life. My prayers are with you, you obviously have faith and that will see you through. I have a son 42 who works too hard, does not eat right, and has high blood pressure (which was tested in the mall) so not reliable, so I know just one tiny bit of what you are going thru. I will add you, your daughter-in-law and your son to my prayer list.

Linda truly Jesus is a MIRACLE WORKER. Your situation is NOT too hard for him. He specializes in HEALING and resurrecting dead things. Lord, I ask that you take authority over this situation and that you bind everything that is not of you. Touch every tissue, organ, blood vessel, limb, etc. in her sons body. Lord allow this to be a testimony of how you can part any red sea. Lord open doors that the family get every need met. Lord bring that heart, bloodpressure and all it's cohosts into command of your word and that is "BY YOUR STRIPES WE ARE HEALED". Lord allow healing to come into this young man life. Lord you said where two or more are touching and agreeing in your name you are in the midst. Lord I thank you for the vicotry because you are the ALPHA & OMEGA, the BEGINNING & END. In JESUS NAME it is so that the BLOOD stops every attack from the enemy. AMEN!!!

Linda, you are all in my prayers! I went thru this a few years ago with my brother and nephew. My brother was 40 and my nephew was 33. My brother had a stint and my nephew had a triple bypass. They are both ok now. I pray the same will be for your son.
