The basket is a rectangle with a 6x4inch bottom & a handle.
The instructions say to use zigzag stitch to attach the basket pieces together. Well that was the easy part , to read the instructions that is.
After cutting away the stabilizer as close to the stitches as I could I butted the edges & zigzagged away. It looked like a truck had run over it & I’ve spent so much time on stitching it out.
The basket was a delight to stitch out but it’s the construction that I’m slightly, or maybe a bit more, peeved at the zigzag result.
I would like to make 3 of these for Easter egg gathering however Nanny needs advice from her Cutie family on how to make the basket look like its picture.

i have learned after making my first basket on what to use and i am glad u got the zigzag down i am still trying to figure that one out to get my baskets stiff i use a interfacing called timtex google it i am not sure of the site i got it from but it is great and makes things stiff like baskets i bought the one from cassandras and love it
