hello cuties, I saw a design for trapunto embroidery. Is there someone who can tell me, how to do this.or is there a site with an explanation? thanks and greetings Gerry

It depends on the design. I went to a class recently at my dealership. We did shadow applique and trapunto. I'll post it in projects as soon as I get a chance. The trapunto was done with a embroidered quilt block design. You will need a design that has tippling around it. Hoop your fabric with a layer of puffy batting, no stabilizer. Stitch out the center of the design. Remove the hoop and cut away the batting from around the inside edge of the hoop to the embroidered part of the design. Float a layer of thin-denser batting under the hoop (you can also sandwich the batting between the hoop and another layer of fabric) and finish stitching out the block.
