Meganne, You are an inspiration to all of us! Your wonderful attitude and outlook will see you through the worst of everything and keep you laughing through the the best of it! The Lord put a "special angel down here to help all the others in your group to get through the scary times! I do so admire you! I fell apart this past week with my son and his heart attack and still have not been able to eat or sleep. I pray and I DO believe that the Lord is the answer to all things but I am so wired that I can not calm down. I AM ALWAYS the calm one during everything but my mind and body is playing tricks on me this time. A very good friend of mine is having the same thing done tomorrow too far away for me to be there. I helped raise his 2 boys many years ago before he married again. Ironicilly, his youngestson is a specialist in Peidmont Hospital right here in Atlanta where my son had his surgery Tuesday. You are a strong-willed and delightful person and alot of help to those around you. May God bless and keep you in his protective arms through your chemo and your healing process. You encourage those around you to see the bright side. I really admire your fortitude and down to earth grasp on the situation. Go get that blonde wig and have a blast with it. What a super day for you and your sister. I have to tell you the truth.. Blondes do have a lot of fun and I can picture you as a blonde. I think these organizations and the companies that have joined them have created a wonderful thing for so many women having cemo and radiation treatments.
