Ok. here's the scoop. I have never been able to figure how to tell when Embroidery Collectables (currently giving out Snow Truetle Alpha) and DreamWest (just finished FSL Easter Alpha)(Both still available) starts to give out a new free alphabet. They don't announce it anywhere. I usually hear about it here, but how do you gals know when a new one is started? I am troupbled by not having this knowledge. The Alpha-Man SHOULD know!!! Please, someone share the secret with me. Both sites should be giving out new alpha any day now.

Thank you,

Alpha-Man

AND AWAY HE FLEW IN HIS NEVER ENDING QUEST FOR THE ALMIGHTY ALPHABET!!!

You have to live and breathe the internet sites. No sewing, no embroidery, you frequently check out all sites lookinng and looking until your are dazed and confused about how many times you visited each site. Finally you get too tired to stay awake and start all over the next day! Have A GOOD DAY ERIC

As for me I miss some too...I am still on dial up and it takes a while to go to favorites (which are many). I also rely on cuties. Good Luck!

I've checked out both sites and they don't seem to have an email newsletter so you might consider joining thier yahoo groups. That's where new design info is usually posted and sent to members.

Eric, I can't answer your question, but I will share this tidbit. The sites that I receive e-mails from giving me up dates must come to some a day earlier than others. I will see a post here on Cute about a new letter up and the next day I get the E-mail from that site.

Embroidery Collectables I just check, but certainly Trenell (sp?) on DreamWest advertises on a lot of embroidery yahoo groups when she puts out new eggs.

Eric, best way is to join their Yahoo groups I guess. Embroidery collectables sometimes have alphas only for group members too. Sometimes they even have alpha that are half on each group.Good luck!

Good to see you back but sorry I cannot help. Alpha collecting is a serious and contagious form of downloading known to quite a number of cute members. SAD - seriously addicted to downloading affects large numbers, while others have DINE - designs I need eventually.

Hope someone can give you the answer you need

Save your sites in Favorites under a folder called 'weekly' - check these out each week (some can be monthly) & when u find designs u want to collect resave these in a another folder called 'download weekly' or a name you want. delete these sites as each free set is finished. add more as u come accross them. These folders I save under a folder named 'SEWING' I also have my 'Daily' folder at the top & 'download' second. This saves u having to spend all day reading & of course Cutes freebie topic sites. Best of Luck

I do that, but this site doesn't list the free alpha's being given out. I have to do a search on their name. And I don't know the alphas name unless someone tells me about it. That's the problem.

I missed the following letters of the FSL Easter Alpha : P,Q,R,S,T,U,V!

So unfortunately I cannot assist you with that answer! HOW I missed them I don't know as I regularly check that website for updates!!!

I must have been 'asleep'!

I don't really know, I quit the hunts because I always end up missing some. They got to be super nice designs for me to take my time to hunt. Hope you figure it out. Plus on top of that I am up to 337 alphas, don't even know if I can keep up anymore
