I use cut-a-way stablizer on the back. I place the TP on top and don't hoop it. You can pin it in place or use a fix stitch around to fasten it in place. The pin holes close up with just a light finger brushing. You want to remember to center the TP. I mark the center lines on the stablizer with the disapearing pen or the white dress marker pens. I don't use anything on top of the design. I tried using WSS on top a couple of times but I don't use it anymore. I tore it off but it wasn't easy- depends upon you design.

I'm still trying to figure out WHY everybody is embroidering TP. Is there an appropriate occasion for giving TP? Housewarming? It looks like a fun idea, just can't figure out when to use it.

I made lots of these for christmas and every one loved them. it is just something different. but the sleeve is nice and can be removed and put on another roll..just meisure the paper roll and cut with a seam alounce and make it long enough to go around the roll and over lap. then you can remove it I make mine double so there is more stable.

I found it better to make a sleeve for the toilet paper. Embroider your design and then decorate top of it with lace or ribbon or binding. close the seam and then you can take it off to wash and change it on other rolls. imagine you run out of paper and it is the last roll in the house....what a shame to have to use the one you stitched on....and they look lovely on a calico fabric....just a thought!!!!

I am not very computer literate, but will try to help you. Lynnie Pinnie has a cute free design called "Butt Whyy Per" It is three frogs. I will try to add the link, if I succeed, go to the free designs and look for the Toilet paper and three frogs. I am not sure if you need to be a member.
