H?as anyone made a crib bumper pad they can give me measurements on? I have one I can somewhat go by, but It is really wide.

I made one a few years ago for my grandson who is out of state. I looked up in a catalogue (Penny's, Sears, etc) and they stated the measurements for the mattresses. I used those measurements for the finished size. It fit perfectly. Hope that helps.

I googled--bumper pad patterns--and looked at this site. Wow, so much stuff! Glad I found it. Farther down the page is a list of children's things, with a pdf file for making bumper pads.

They are illegal to have them in Australia.all sides of a cot or basinett has to be open so air can circulate and no soft toys in there while baby is there.Because of SIDS.Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. and the bedding is to be short sheeted so baby cant slide down the bed.And you are only allowed to lay baby on there back.
