I have been going through a lot of designs today and have designs that will stitch out using the stitch simulator on my laptop. Then I load the floppy into my machine and bring the designs up OK BUT... one or two of the designs do not show up on the screen of my Galaxie 3000 but the stitch colours DO apart from the first colour to stitch. I cannot get these stitches to sew. I am working in PE design version 5. Anyone with any ideas please?

I know sometimes I have a similar issue with my Janome and it's a question of size - the pattern is bigger than the machine can handle, so I have to resize it and then it works fine. I am not familiar with your machine, so I am not sure if this is the same problem.

Thanks for the reply. I have just turned my machine off for the night so I will check hoop sizes tomorrow. This is something that I had not looked at

On a slightly different note, did you know that you can update version 5 online for free. I think it goes up to 5.61. I haven't had your problem yet. Sorry I can't help.

and try the pattern out on her embroidery machine which is the same as mine

I had the same problem as dpickle. The size being wrong or not having the correct hoop selected. That's with Janome/DigiPro. Hopefully someone with the same software will have better advice for you. Good luck.

I have tried out the information from dpickel and debleerl but neither have worked. The design has 4599 stitches and 7 colours. The first colour that is not registering on my machine but is on the computer screen is 612 stitches. So please can anyone give me further advice?
