Ah, well this looks a familiar story. Sorry to hear about your mother but as she is being cared for she should be fine hands, though it must not be good for her to be like this at the moment. Take care with your eyes. There are many out hear to listen to you and dont overdo things.

Just an update, mother was operated on Tuesday night and they put the pins in her hip. Yesterday's visit was very good, she was her old self with a few meds for the pain, the physio had her up in the chair in the morning with a fair bit of pain but she seems to be eating okay and her mind is still sharp so hopefully we are on the road to better days...thanks cutes for all your hugs and prayers...now we'll pray for good news for my eyes on Monday..hugs and love to all of you Glenda x0x0x0x

Glenda dear, I missed this 2 days ago - I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's fall - the poor thing - having to go through this sort of surgery - she is a trooper - with flying colors, too. Now, let's get you through your eye surgery and all will be well - huh? I have you in my prayers and I will be thinking about you.

Glenda, I'm sorry I've missed this post. I will add your mother to my prayer list.....you have been on it and I do so hope your eye problem will resolve itself soon.

Things aren't too different, I am a little depressed at finding mom so confused, I have tried going at different times of the day but it is very discourageing to see such a change...they are talking rehab now so will see what that brings...the eye specialist says it could take upto 4 months for my eyes to return to normal so my next appointment is July...finding it hard but one day at a time...hugs to you all and thanks for being there...Glenda x0x0x0x
