thank you Maria. to fill the pin cushions I cover a ceramic tile with wadding and then you stuff more "polly fill" before you close up the opening.

Very nice idea Rosie I need to make me one of these, I am always making a pile of clipping to the side and then have a hard time picking them up around the room.
