As I have been sitting at the computer a lot lately, I have been feeling guilty about the lack of excercise. I removed my chair from the desk and have been sitting on an excercise ball. Try it!

My biggest problem with the ball is when I get up and come back to the desk....it has usually rolled someplace else. LOL We live in an old farmhouse and the floors are not even close to level. (But it is home.)

Maybe place something near to keep it from rolling off ;D *2U

I just think it's part of the fun...catching the ball. My Gd seems to like that.

Not sure what a jelly chair is, but the ball is rather large and it's used for exercising. I do crunches and other movements when waiting for a site to come up or a download to finish.

Well - good for you - I have heard of others doing that, too. Have fun.

Good for you! We do spend a lot of time exercising our fingers. :) Great idea but I am a clutz. I would roll off and break something. hahaha I had an exercise routine I did for 30 years faithfully but had to give it up over a year ago because of back problems. I miss doing them. I always slept better when I exercised. I do walk my dog every night and she doesn't listen to any of my excuses. She doesn't give up until we walk. :)

Great Idea, I wonder how my "Ball Mad" dog would react to it??? May not last more than it takes her to get a good tooth hold! LOL!!

Good idea but I use my laptop everyday rather than the normal computer, so I think it would be hard to balance on my lap while sitting on the ball.....it would certainly look funny though...

Try putting your laptop on a tray table or stool.

I use a laptop,so I'm usually sitting with my legs stretched out on my bed. I have one of those small exercize balls and put it between my legs and I will do squeezes while I'm playing online. Hey... even a LITTLE something,is better than nothing!

Doesn't sitting on the bed with legs in front bother you....it would get in my back.
