I've spent a few evenings transfering some file from the 3 1/4" floppies to a ScanDisk USB drive. It will be nice not to have to scramble through the piles of disks to find a design, Even though I numbered and indexed them, it will be faster...maybe I will get more items stitched out.

All the dust bunnies that were hiding in my sewing room corner are now gone..and the little thread scraps are history, too.
Now that it is all neat and tidy...I better keep it that way!

Great, congrats to you...I love my 2001, but would really like to upgrade, but have to decide which to spend the money on a cruise to Scandanavia & Russia or a new machine...now which would you choose ??? I'm thinking early for my birthday in January 2010 it's a biggie !!!

personally I'd go for the machine - it'll last longer and be more fun and you can still drink the water! (giggle)

Congrats mel, Im happy for your new Brother and extra happy for your new space, I know all about those piles of stuff. My turn to trade will be soon, hopefully. My machine is a 1250 Husq Orchidea a lovely gift from Mom after she upgraded to Brother. Before I had to jump between 2 computers to get a design done since the old Husq embroidery program and Windows Xp didnt clic. Thank heavens for my 4D reader/writer kit, at last some harmony and less clutter is found. Enjoy every min of it and looking forward to see some of your new projects posted.
