These days digitising programs have a online learning Center build into the program, some programs are so advanced you can use any file and convert it to suit your needs. Hugs.

I use DigitizerProMB2 and download jpg. They are easily edited in any photo software and you can save the edited version in whatever format your digitizing software prefers.

I work with Digitizer Pro and download wmf. It is easy to edit and you can combine 2 or more clipart with out having to contend with the white backgrounds. It is also much clearer if you need to magnify a certain area of a design for detailed work.

I download vector images (wmf) because I work with Adobe Illustrator (I also grab AI ones too if they're available). You can change the size of the graphic without losing any clarity because vector's are mathmatic calculations and don't run on pixels.

For Brother PE-Design EPS format, I have Embird now and most of the time will use WMF and JPG images mostly but I always download the AI file as I can convert it to any of other those file formats with Adobe Ilustrator.
