My youngest son and his family (my beautiful Grandkids) are moving interstate, on Sunday, for six months.

If we don't drive up and see them tomorrow, before they leave, I will be devastated.

On Sunday my Sis is having a lingerie party, especially for mastectomy patients, so of course I had planned to go to that and I was requested to make pikelets to take for it.

Now I have to rush out and buy both my Son's and GrandSon's (long overdue) Birthday presents and make sure I have something to take with us tomorrow.
I was in hospital on GS's Birthday and they were away on Son's birthday so I missed them both. I feel so slack but I guess there have been extenuating circumstances.

Oh and I have to have a radion x-ray of my porta-cath on Monday.

I had a bad fall last night, chair tipped over instead of moving backwards (on its wheels) and I landed very heavily, flat on my back!! What a sight!!! Anyway it dislodged the chemo port and it will have to be checked before they dare use it, in case it came adrift from the catheter. (Ho-hum)

Anyway, don't panic and send out the cavalry if you don't hear from me, I will need to rest in between all the extra activity.

hugs n love to you all, Meganne

It was quite comical and once I got my breath back all I could do was lay on the floor, legs up in the air (very undignified) and laugh my fool head off. Truly, told you I was Mrs Dur!!!

I hope everything goes the way that you would like it to go. You look after yourself first and foremost, and eventhough 6 months seems like a long time, before you know it your son and his family will be back.

Thanks Ingrid, It's very tough on Grandma's. :-( I gave my son my camera before to keep me up to date with photo's, but alas, that novelty soon wore off. LOL!! hnr, M

Oh Meg, I am sorry to read that you had a fall - but with your funny sense of humour I'm sure you did laugh your head off. I got a mental picture of it and it reminded me of those otters that lie in the water with their feet up in the air!

The 6 months that your son and his family will be away will go quicker than you can imagine.

Time is a traveller,--------------- oh! oh!,
I think I can feel a song coming on ---------- Tenterfield saddler, Turn your head, Right again jackaroo, think I see I see kangaroo up ahead.

I had better get off here or else I'll never get into town. I rang Marten from Thorpe's (where I have bought my sewing machines from in Newcastle)to see if he had a 6x6 hoop - I have most of the others and he has one - yippee - only $250.00. I hope that is reasonable, not sure how much they are really worth. He said they are usually $280.00 so I am happy to get $30 off.

You keep laughing and look after yourself. Love and blessings Chris (found some otters for you - don't these little critters just bring a joyful smile to your face?)

My Heavens, $250 for a 6 x 6!!!!!!!!!!
I paid that for my Diamond's Gigantic 360 x 350 Majestic hoop, including software.

Is yours gold plated?

what kind of machine do you have?

I have the Husqvarna Designer 1 Limited Edition - am I being ripped off? I always thought he was a bit dear! Tell me where I can buy some of the attachments cheaper and I'll be there! Love and blessings Chris.

Have fun with your family before they go, the time will fly while they are gone and kids grow so much in such a short time

Meganne, You need to be a bit more careful! You don't want to be spending any more time with the drs. than you have already, do you? It is time for you to get on the mend and have a good time for awhile. We sure would miss that wonderful personality if you were layed up in the hospital with a broke leg or arm. I'm just glad you did not do any major damage!! Yes, I can see you lying on the floor laughing but I am glad you could. You need to get you some roll bars put on your chair if you are going to run races in it! hehe Seriously, I sure am glad you hurt nothing serious. You enjoy your trip to see your Son and family and as busy as you stay they will be back home before you know it! Linda in Ga.

I hope you enjoy your stay with your son and his family. Please be careful, falling over is no joy and the doctors are having too much of your time as it is.

Well Meg... What can I say... You are the only person I know who can fall from a chair with wheels. LOL I'm sure your chemo port survived just fine and it was all to give you a good laugh later. Enjoy your visit. You will be missed but we look forward to hearing from you when you get back.
