I have the Cricut Personal cutter and have owned it for more than a year. I am a rubber stamper and make handmade greeting cards. These Cricut cutters are fully automated and you do not have to crank anything.
They have a newer version of the Cricut that will cut bigger designs than the personal cutter that is
wonderful for big posters and banners. I didn't need anything bigger than 5" so I am totally pleased with the one that I have.
Cartridges can get expensive but there are sites where you can get them at a bargain.
It cuts card stock and even vinyl.
The software that you can purchase for computer use is nice because you can combine letters from different cartridges and send it directly to the cutter via usb cable.
You'll love this product if you like to make cards,
scrapbook, or are a teacher or demonstrator and want to use it for posters or banners.

I do all kinds of crafts and my husband is always buying lettering for his business so I thought this would kill 2 birds he would have it for lettering and me for crafting LOL thank you for the info didn't realize the cricut could connect to puter the info I have seen states stand alone machine no puter needed. that's why I have been looking at others too.

I have seen the ad on T.V. for the Cricut Expression several times and would love to have it. You can make wall plaques, banners, pictures, and beautiful cards as well as doing scrapbooking. It is rather expensive but in the long run it would be worth it. I am on disability and just can not afford all the gadgets and gizmos that I used to buy everytime they came on the market. It is either eat and buy my meds or spend what I don't have now. If you go online to the Cricut Expression their site has a video to play or it did a couple of months back. yes I checked out site too but there are also 2 other machines that do the same for about the same price so just wondering which is really better.

Come to think of it, here in the Atlanta area, the Walmarts and Michaels also have the Expression. U might get a better price at Walmart. As soon as the Walmart that is close to me gets them in, they are SOLD OUT. Linda

the walmarts around me have done away with most crafts the isles are empty mostly flowers not much else.

not that much for the tv one it is $375 plus shipping and joann's is $399 regular on sale for $279

Joann's is cheaper than tv right now they are on sale and I have a coupon for another 20% off that is why I am going to go check it out today LOL I'm to cheap to pay full price for anything LOL
