I made the above picture for a dear friend's birthday. The design is from Creative Design Embroidery. I have made the design bigger using my digitising program, the dimensions are 200 x 220 mm. I embroidered it on brown velvet (as brown is my friend's favourite colour) using 3 layers of stabiliser. The design has approx 75,000 stitches and took 3 hours to stitch out.

It's absolutely beautiful! You did a wonderful job! I actually purchased that design and stitched it out. I wish my machine would do the larger designs. I would love to have a larger version of it.

Thanks Waterlily, I think it was from your posting of this one and the waterfall that I purchased both the designs. I do love being able to do them bigger though, that was the main reason I bought my current machine as my old one had a 5 x 7 hoop as the biggest size.
