I haven't did this for a long time and everything has changed with computers I now Have Visa and I downloaded a PES embrod. and It will not go into my Ped. basic program. Please Help me.

Welcome to Cute. I do have Vista but I download to a memory stick or onto a floppy disc. I keep designs on another computer that is not on the internet. It is this computer that I play around with designs. Probably not of much help to you. Happy sewing

pgrammy, welcome to the CUTE family - I don't use Vista - but here that there are alot of troubles with that and embroidery files - for some reason or other - they two systems to not communicate the same way - mostly because some designers use short cuts and the Vista doesn't recognize their language. Have you tried to make sure of where the designs are actually going? My designs only go - where I tell them to go - when I download them or they will auto go to the last place I downloaded to - which could be my pictures - but that is me - I download much more than just my designs - do you? Hope this helps - if not - it will get you back to the top - so another can see it and perhaps answer. *4u

I use Vista and PED Basic. I save my files into folders, then I have to open PED basic fist and direct it to the desired folder in order to view the files and transfer them to the embroidery card. What exactly is the issue you are having? Maybe I can give you more detailed information if I know what is going on.
