I don't know if this helps but I have a desk with xp and a laptop with vista. I bought a ub stick and put my embroidery software on it for my laptop.I load my designs on a disk then burn them and open them on my ub stick then delete them from my downloads,since they are on a disk and ub stick,I can save my memory on my computer.I got a 16g stick,and a 2g.The 16 is large enough to have files and designs or whatever you need.This helps me.Some one else may have a better idea.
