Hey, girl, you have a beautiful head, too!! (See my comment to Chris Pennifold about Trevor). Ever thought of one of those beaded net 'caps', like medieval ladies used to wear? Could make a change from the blonde wig, which is wonderful, too, by the way! Love, M
by meganne 17 Apr 2009
Oh Marji I can 'barely' 'stand' (both puns intended) to wear a wig, let alone carry the weight of all that opulence on my head!! LOL!

My head gets so hot, then it gets cold, I can't seem to strike a happy medium.
Thankfully winter is on the way so that should make things a bit more comfortable.

My God!!!You have a very nice shape of head!!!You don't need any wigs...I absolutely hated when I had to used one so I went "bald" it was not to bad,You look beautiful,Love.

I do miss my hair but I must admit there's no greater freedom than standing under the shower with the water gloriously pouring all over my head, AND THEN, getting out and just rubbing your head dry in two seconds.
Whoopppppppeeeeee!!!! It's wonderful!!

No hairdryers, no heated curlers, curling irons or straightening irons, no mousse or hair gel, no fudge or goo, no hairspray, NO GREY HAIR!!!! Woohooo! total freedom!

What a wonderful picture! That smile is worth a million! Actually you look just like my best friend that keeps her hair cut very short and always has a smile on her face. Of course my hair is cut very short also. My friend since high school and we have never had a cross word. She is Glenda and I am Linda. My birthday is 12/26/46 and hers is 12/25/46. My maiden name was Tapley and she was once married to a Tapley. She is single now and so am I. We like to do most all the same things. We both sew, paint and do all kinds of crafts. That is where it stops. I love to cook and she hates to cook. She is a sleeper and I never go to sleep. Oh, we do both have arthritis but her is not nearly as bad as mine, but I dregress! I saw you with that wonderful smile and it made me think of her. The picture with the wig was pretty but you look just a pretty without it! You are such a trooper about all of this. I hope your hubby knows what a wonderful "Lady" he married. I know it is hard not being able to get around but if you keep your spirits up time will pass alot faster! You have alot of friends praying for your good health to return but you are going to have to help! You are going to have to stop going out in public and trying to stand on your head in front of everyone. Didn't you know that your feet were made to walk on? They were not supposed to be in the air!!! heehee Seriously, take it easy for a while and give yourself some time to heal. You have alot of things going on that really need some tender, loving care. Let the hubby take care of you for a while until you are really better. Hugs and prayers are coming your way. Linda in Ga. You are a beautiful person!

Aw Linda, such lovely sharing words you made my eyes leak.... Then you hit me with a good belly laugh!!!! Ain't life grande!
DH is vaccuuming as I write so I'm thinking I'm the lucky one, he does his best to look after me and he spoils me rotten.
I'm his second wife and he home nursed his first wife through cancer until she passed.

I didn't want this for him, but I guess, the powers that be, wanted him for me.

Hopefully, the best is yet to come as we have spent our first 4 1/2 years together with him, his mum, and now me, in and out of hospital. We have our own beds there now. LOL!!!!

hugs n love, Meganne

We are just going to have to award him The best Husband,Husband,Son, award of the century. I'll have to admit that he must really be a good and loving man. You are as lucky as he is! I just hope that you can spend a long and wondeful life together! You give him a thumbs up for me. I had to have had the sorriest man on the face of the earth but I do not really blame him. It was the way he was raised. If he ever raised his hands to do anything at the house for anyone, I would have fainted! I must have taught him something because my son says that he does help his second wife some. She has had alot of health issues and is going blind now. He did marry a friend of mine but she was not the cause of the break-up. We di not air our dirty linen in public so no one actually knew we were divorced for a long time, not even my Mom. Our divorce was final in July and my Mom was asking me what to get him for Christmas before I told her that we were divorced. He did remarry 6 months after we divorced but he could not boil water without burning the pot so he had to have someone to look after him. BUT.. that is a story for another time. That was almost 30 yrs ago. I am so glad that the Lord put the two of you together. He seems like a wonderful husband and I know what a wonderful person you are. Yes, He had His reasons and I know that they were good ones. When I look at a couple that really loves each other and both gives all they have, I feel a little cheated but I have never considered trying the 2nd time. I just raised my son by myself and have been a really happy person up until mine and his health both took a turn for thr worse. He really gave me a scare when he had his Heart Attack last month but he is improving and going to re-hab. Better than that, he took it very seriously and is eating right and doing just what thr Dr's tell him he needs to do. The Lord is good and he does listen. My prayers go out to you and your family and I also hope that your extended family will come around and be part of the whole family soon. Hugs ands good wishes to all of you! Linda in Ga.
