Under projects is our projects done, Bookmarks is sites with freebies others have found. Reviews is others thoughts on products. Community is where we post ?'s Answers, thoughts, freebie warnings (ha ha part of the addiction). On Home, you can see the daily designs given free for you to download. At the bottom of the page is the page listings you can browse through at your leisure to just get to know us. If you want to pm (private Message) click on the persons name and you can pm them from there. Hope that will get you started....Somewhere in here (not to far back) is a page where everyone (almost) has posted their actual name in it. The flowers by your name * you get from postings and answering others giving them to you. These will grow fast and you too will have a wonderful bouquet. LOL and have fun here. deanna

Hi Ahuker. There is not much more that I can add that has not already been said. The friendship here is AWESOME!!!! Need a Prayer....You got it. Need a Hug....You got it. Need an Answer questioned or a question answered.....You got it. Need more time to embroider and do house work.... sorry we are still working on that miracle. Like Celticlady said "Don't be shy". I was when I first found the site I was very standoffish. Now they sometimes wish that I would hush (LOL). No matter how you look at it, you've come to the right place for just about anything. Hello, Ahuker and welcome! This is a wonderful place to be with alot of very nice and helpful people. I got addicted very quickly. I am from the suburbs of Atlanta where I moved to in Nov of 2007. I also have 2 Baby Locks, an Esante and the Ellageo. I have the Singer XL Quatum 1000 but do not use it unless I really need a design that is on their memory cards. The Ellageo is the newest being about 4 yrs old but not used all of that time. It stayed in the box for over a year because I got really sick and could not use it. I have wonderful service out of the Baby Locks! Would love to have the new one but am retired and it is not possible. These guys and gals that are members here are just about the greatest bunch of people I have ever come across. I am one of the newer ones here but have been here long enough to know this is a great place to be! If you ever need anything, someone will be there to try to help. It is like having your second family away from home. You will never meet a nicer group. I love it because everyone works together and really cares about each other. Have a seat and enjoy. Good luck. I used to travel two to three hours each way to attend group meetings (another hobby) from here in the Richmond area to DC, NOVA & MD. Whew!

Many websites have tutorials and you can find some on utube also. Let the group know which model you own, as each has it's own quirks and delights.

I have never had the first lesson or class but am now on my 3rd machine & I guess hold my on. QTs always come through when u need some help with something. I'm pretty knowledageable about doing Embroidery, you are welcome to give me a call and I would be glad to help. Also I sell threads and stabilizers at a reasonable cost if you are interested. I live in a small town and have a really small shop but I have lots of people that call when they need help. Welcome...this is the place! I loved to see "Northern Virginia" as we lived up there for 35 yrs...most of the time in Dale City...then retired back to Tenn. Folks here kid me about calling it "Northern VA" & ask why..I tell them because that's what it IS! That's a sweet bunch of ladies that sew at Terri's on Occoquan Road in Woodbridge. May want to check into it. I can NOT remember the name of her shop...but is probably the only one on the road there...about a block off Rt. 1.
