I'm not familiar with Viking software but I thought the Designer 1 could handle the larger hoops. Did you try using Embird to either resize or cut it?

You are right in Husqvarna 3D you can't split design bigger than 225 x 90 or 240 x 150. (And you can of course use the 360 x 15o without splitting.) Maybe you can in the updates of 4D as the Designer Diamond has a far larger hoop size. I have not checked if there are limits in Embird, but that's not the software you have. So I'm afraid I can't tell you how to do it!

I have the 3D, but do not like splitting designs as I feel you will always just see where it was split.
So no experience, but you can set the hoop bigger, where you set the hoop sizes.On the very top it says enter hoop size. Maybe you can split once that is set on a much bigger size.
If it is only just too big you can make it smaller ofcourse in the software, that is what I tend to do

I have the designer 1 and 3D software. do not like splitting designs, you can just see it.<br />have you got the bigger hoops? I have noticed that there are now larger designs available to buy. so care is needed when buying to see that it fits your hoop. Hope you can still use the design
