should not have to. Can not quite remember, think you have to load the different parts separate and embroider 1 after the other. Hope someone else knows more.Otherwise look up a Husqvarne dealer, they are always very helpful.

You don't need a new card - I have an Iris and a plus hoop - but you have to use split design parts. You can't use any design that does not fit your 100 x 100 mm hoop without splitting it, for which you need software. So the 100 x 170 hoop is great, but has its limitations!
