tweezers) Cleaned bobbin case before, changed needle , etc.

Will try to complete tomorrow sometime! Dr. appts...just had Mother for CT scan...results not good...probably lung cancer... going for broncoscopy in May. She is 89, lived with DH & me for 15 yrs. since father passed with prostate cncr.
No siblings so it has been tough...probably will have Mum's younger sister, brother and wife to visit ( all in 80's and with health problems) Sorry I am rambling...just nice to vent somewhere. Some days are just like that!

Chenille that sounds like the problems I have when I forget to raise the pressure foot before threading the machine or have a piece of thread caught in the thread tension disks. You sound stressed my dear, that is a whole lot of people and problems to deal with. As the hostess it puts so much pressure on you, but they will appreciate it. Having gone through this with your dad I am sure you know what to do but do remember to contact your local hospice for help. Even with your mom at home they will come in and help. My sister died at home from cancer and the hospice group was very helpful. I am thinking of you and praying for you and your mom and family.

Thank you so much...it is just good to talk(so to speak). My DH had a lung tumor just after mum moved in with us...he had a lung removed and has done well. This is just a bit of a blow to us as she seemed so well.
Thank you for taking the time to respond it is really appreciated.

Chenille, this sounds about right to me. Even if you check it 10 times it just still may be it needs threaded again. Good luck on the pillowcase. You are in my prayers. I pray for peace for you.

Dear Chenille, I promise never ever to scream at my kids over "nothing" and never to fight with my husband over "stupidities"!! I will pray for you and your family to finally have peace and especially good HEALTH. Am sorry - but, I just don't understand why sometimes the best of people seem to be getting it all!? Keep up the good spirit, and may God give you strength - all the very best! *4U, Mary

chenille, the next time you sit down to stitch - maybe there will not be so much pressure on you - but at this point - you do have your hands full - not even stitching something out could get rid of those things - just too much stress dear. My machine never works right - when I am stressed. Hehehe! I will be praying for you and your family.

You can "bend" our ears all you want.....we all do it at one time or another. Everyone need a vent! Kiss your machine and tuck it in for the day. You will be able to think more clearly after a short rest. You are in my prayers.

My prayers are with you and your family. Right now, I would not worry about the machine. You will find out that when you are having problems that darned ole machine will have problems also. That is just the nature of things! When you are thinking straight and not worrying about other things go back and it will most likely all fall in place. Just treat the family and the machine with TLC. I do hope all the test turn out good but if not, trust in the Lord. He and only He knows what the future holds. May God bless! Linda in Ga. Oh, and do not worry about venting to all of us, that is just 1 of the reasons we are here!

The circle of life, it's hard and seems like it has a lot of corners.
Have you tried winding a new bobbin if you don't have pre-wound ones?
