How very thoughtful of you. The Poppy of course is a beautiful flower and grows wild all around Gallipoli.
I had the great honour of visiting the beautiful country of Turkey and visited that site last year on our Overseas trip. It was a very moving experience for me and my husband. Especially for me as I was asked to read the story of Simpson and his donkey (also look this up on Google!). He actually had a stay here in Newcastle once where we live!!! How amazing is that and I was asked to read it! Boy was I honoured.
When you see the age of the boys of our two countries of Australia and New Zealand it just bought me to tears. Some were as young as 14 (they lied about their age to go off to war!!!!)
It was such a delight to see the Poppies blowing in the wind gently too and fro as though there wasn't a care in the world. Of course they were in the midst of the fighting and on the battlefield.
I really appreciate you giving us this site as I am sure every other Aussie and Kiwi is.

Thank you.My Grand mother had a dry biscuit with the firt comemoritive poppy stuck onto it and the biscuit was like a thick large sao biscuit that the soldiers had to soak to eat it now is with the War musuem.

That biscuit is called the Anzac biscuit - it is a tradition passed on to practically everyone.
