Who takes care of your computer? My Dear Husband quadrupled the amount of memory in my computer. It goes super fast now. I'm am forever grateful that he is computer savvy.

I'm the nerd in our family. LOL! I worked in the industry for about ten years but started teaching myself about computers back in the early 80's. They've been the biggest part of my life ever since as I spent more than 8 hours every day glued to a keyboard. I'm totally addicted and love nothing better than mastering a new program.

Well I'm NO good in taking care of my computer. I'm so lucky that my son does that for us. He did further studies for computers after school, then when he did all of that, he did accounting. He is an accountant now.

I have to say I too am thankful for having a husband that made his living with computer systems. He is always backing mine up, and upgrading. I usually get his "cast-off", and if I don't get it the grandkids do. I think every one of them know more about computers than I do, and I am on one for 8-10 hours a day for my job. LOL

I do. My daughter and I took apart my computer and added ram - memory to my computer. It still wasn't enough - better, faster, but not as fast as I wanted it to go. I just got a new computer a couple of months ago. The computer is alot faster, but I don't like the Vista program when used with the embroidery programs though. I am thinking about getting a laptop that I can keep next to my embroidery machine, but with Windows XP!!!!!! My cricut cutting machine design program doesn't work with Vista either! Why did they install such a program in computers that isn't compatible with so many of the programs that are out there??!!

I do. My husband used to work in IT for many years, but is not really interested in the mechanics of the thing! I used programs like SPSS (statistical package for social sciences) to get jobs done on a mainframe from the mid 70s well into the 80s. Now I'm quite happy using consumer friendly software and enjoy mastering new ones. My son is in IT, but I prefer him to leave my PC well alone and add new hardware, clean up dirty keyboards and things like that myself.

it's me, my husband doesn't even know how a normal PC works. He's used to his own laptop. when there's a problem with my PC I cann't fix I ask my son or a friend.
