while the designs were stitching I would try to sharpen a pair of old scissors that did not want to cut anymore. I was thrilled with the results. Then I jumped up from my chair, and looked like a whirlwind as I ran around the house collecting many pairs of old scissors to sharpen. Haha!! I did not understand what you were saying about old needles. You saved me alot of money. Now I do not have to pay anyone to sharpen my scissors, or keep buying new ones. Thank you again very much. H&*.

Wow, this really works? You just cut the aluminium foil with the shears, and it sharpens them? Dang!! I thought y'all were bluffing, hee hee hee. Thanks, Marji

Hi Tyco4357, I don't think I had the privilege of telling you "Welcome". I see that you have the answers about how to use the foil. This is the best group I have found. Happy you cared enough to join us. H&*.

I will have to try this. Sounds like you were so excited that I imagined you "running with scissors" to get them all and sharpen them. Ha! Ha! Thanks for sharing this.

Sally, I am so amazed at you - really girl - to just jump up and go for it - isn't it great? You don't even need a scissor sharpening person. You must be careful - when you first do that with your scissors, however. Take care and enjoy your new tool and the great thing is - it doesn't have to be right out of the box, either. *4U
