Well, my first embroidery machine was a Brother
350SE. It is a sewing machine AND Embroidery machine. I loved it! It still works very well, but I wanted to upgrade to a larger embroidery field. The 350SE has a 4 X 4 Embroidery field. I got the machine at...believe it or not...WalMart for $379. I think it was an excellent price considering it would embroider, as well as sew.

Welcome Geppy - I am not sure but I know there will be others along to help you.

Personally I love the Husqvarna Designer 1 Limited Edition - it was expensive, but there may be other Husqvarna machines available that you can have a look at within your budget.

I would recommend that you have a look on the internet at all the Sewing Machine websites of all the sewing machine brands you can think of and see what is available. Then when you have an idea write to us and ask if someone has that particular model. There is bound to be someone in the world on this site that will have a machine the same or similar.

Good luck and again welcome to Cute.

Love and blessings Chris

(P.S. also have a look at the top of the page under Reviews there are comments about different sewing machines there.)
