Mary, nine was not free - but a program that I was told I needed to get my designs from my PC to my Babylock (which is a sister to your Brother) what software do you have - you might have a conversion on it already. *4U Shirlene

Take a look at our software section. This is a FAQ, so I posted 4 descriptions of FREE and helpful software.
This is my personal favourite, because you not even can convert designs with it but also manage your files. It is very comfortable.
But Wilcom and Ambassador are good too and I use them all - some read files others won't.

PE Design 7.0 can open pes, pec, phc, exp, dst, pcs, hus, vip, shv, jef, sew, csd and xxx. That covers most designs you come across. Just open it in your software and save it as pes (the only format your software can save in). No need to try out or buy a separate conversion program, although WilcomTruesizer works okay.

download the ambassador setup this will install Tajima by pulse ambassador it is a free conversion and viewing program. It has other features but i havent used them i mainly use it to view and convert designs when i dont have my PE design plugged in. good luck any probs pm me ok ill try and help you as best i can .*4U
