After nine months and one week I finally received an email notifying me my Elna XQ2 machine has been fixed and is in the truck on its way back to me.
THEN, THEN. THE FANTASTIC NEWS!!!!
My Sister was supposed to have a biopsy, today, on her remaining breast for a lump she discovered before Christmas.
They started the scans, then decided they might need to do a more invasive Core biopsy instead, so they called in yet another specialist to look at the suspect area under ultrasound. After he checked out the scans and ultrasounds he diagnosed it wasn't a lump but an overlapping of two areas of dense tissue that posed no threat. So no biopsy, no more worries.
Only Nancy's result to go and still waiting for Ausgov to approve my SIL's permanent residency visa so she can return to us.
Now wouldn't it be wonderful if they both turned out to be good news and sooner rather than later.
I can hardly wait to get my XQ back, it is such a phenomenal machine, despite the bad luck I had with mine.
If I could ask for a little prayer I would ask
That my Sister never has any more battles with cancer;
That Nancy's biopsy result is negative;
That Melissa is granted her Visa to live in Australia
and that I never have any more problems with my Elna machine.
Is it too much to ask?
Hugs n roses n tons of love, Meganne
enjoy this happy Day!hugs, gerry
My prayers are with you and your family that EVERYTHING has a positive outcome!!
Since they took over the distribution of Elna we had to wait for them to authorise the part to be made for a machine that is no longer in production.
That part had to be made in Japan and supposedly they had to set up a production line just to make it.
Yeah right!!!!
We're talking about a machine that Originally cost $7,500 here in Australia.
And they are trying to say there are no spare parts available to replace the part that seized up?????
Shame on Janome for treating a cancer patient so shoddily. I wish I could broadcast it to the whole world and really shame them in Japan.
If I hadn't been so sick I would have broadcast it Nationwide in Australia and believe me if it isn't perfect when I get it back I won't hesitate to let everyone know about their treatment of me.
I think I would be well and truly justified as I have been more than patient.
I really am hoping it never breaks down again.
Hugs n roses, M
