After further test results on my cancer, the medical team have decided I won't need to have the twelve months treatment with the chemo drug, Herceptin! YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAH!
AND,
when i start the next drug Paclitoxal in two weeks, if I have any adverse allergic reactions I won't have to finish the full twelve week course.
This might not sound like much, but Herceptin is the chemo drug most responsible for causing serious heart problems and since I've already had problems in this area I am really relieved I won't be subjected to this extra risk.
I'm hoping I won't have any reactions to the "Taxol" as it would be better if I can finish this course.
But Hey! Either way, I will be finished with chemo within 14 weeks instead of another 15 months.
I can hardly wait to start feeling better, I'm so looking forward to being 'well' and getting my life back again.
