After further test results on my cancer, the medical team have decided I won't need to have the twelve months treatment with the chemo drug, Herceptin! YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAH!

AND,

when i start the next drug Paclitoxal in two weeks, if I have any adverse allergic reactions I won't have to finish the full twelve week course.

This might not sound like much, but Herceptin is the chemo drug most responsible for causing serious heart problems and since I've already had problems in this area I am really relieved I won't be subjected to this extra risk.

I'm hoping I won't have any reactions to the "Taxol" as it would be better if I can finish this course.

But Hey! Either way, I will be finished with chemo within 14 weeks instead of another 15 months.

I can hardly wait to start feeling better, I'm so looking forward to being 'well' and getting my life back again.

Hugs n roses n love to all, Meganne

Meganne, Prayer and attitude! You had alot of prayers going your way and the most wonderful attitude I have ever seen/heard! You have put up a dynamic fight to rid yourself of this awful disease and with the grace of the Lord you seem to have won the battle. Thank Him everyday! Be happy, be glad, be cocky but most of all be careful. Not a single one of us would ever want to see you have to go through this awful ordeal again. Take care of yourself and keep getting regular check-ups. You have been a shining light to all of us and you were the one in danger! I am so happy to hear such good news. It won't be long before Ray will have his wife back again. He can quit being the house-hubby--hee hee. I know he has to be as happy as you are about the good news. It is just awful to watch someone you love be so sick and not be able to do anything to make them better. You take care and try not to over-do until you get your clean bill of health and build up some strength. You just keep on smiling that wonderful smile! Linda in Ga

I'm so happy you don't have to take Herceptin. My mom was on that for a short time, it was causing more problems than it was curing.

You continue to be in my prayers.
