First District, Dr. Phil Roe came by a couple of days before the party to wish her happy birthday. Her nephew, Circuit Judge Ben W. Hooper and former First District U.S. Congressman Bill Jenkins and 4 other former State Legislators and 100 other family and friends. My sister had arranged it all including piano players that changed every 30 min. and also an acoustic stringed ensemble composed of her church members. I also saw relatives that I had not seen in 40 years. One cousin had his 3rd wife and he was her 4th husband. HA! Ha! I don't want to bore you, but I will post some photos. I was disappointed that so many were blurred. Something is set wrong on camera. Enjoy or skip if you are bored. Kay

Looks like a wonderful family
My mother loved every minute. I had cautioned my sister that the drop in hours of 1:30pm to 5:00pm were too long, but all worked out well.

Thank you all for your lovely comments. Hope I did not bore you. I didn't want to appear to be bragging about the guest list. I was just proud that they all came and gave up their Sunday afternoon to honor my Mother. My mother is the daughter of Gov. Ben W. Hooper, (1911-1915). Our family was very proud of his accomplishments.

Only four, I was 25 when I had my daughter and she was 33 or 34 when her first child was born. My Mother was 33 when she had me.
