This is the latest project we did in the Embroidery Club that I belong to.
The designs are from Anita Goodesigns.
The zippered change purse was the most fun.

It was super easy to do. The first thing was to put in the zipper.
The checkbook cover was hard to do and when I was in class I thought, yeah right, I won't be making any more of these!
But now that I have done the other projects and I understand the principle of "in the hoop" I probably will make some sets.

I have this "in the hoop" set. I've hesitated doing it, but yours looks great. Fabric really sets it off. Good club to belong to. It sort of forced you to do something you would have put off doing. Good job.

Our instructor changed the directions slightly. The directions call for using a lot of spray. We used a product (forgot the name) but it is a narrow adhesive tape - stickey on both sides and is water soluble. It was a lot easier than all that spraying and was quick and easy too. Print and read the directions first before you start the project and feel free to PM me if you need any pointers. Good Luck and Enjoy!

This is a Moda (?) Fabric
a friend said she saw this fabric when she was in Florida at Disney last Christmas. Mary Jo's in Gastonia NC has the tape measure ribbon.

I keep hearing about this "MaryJos" in NC. I'm gonna have to take a trip down there and check it out. I was born in NC, but now live in Md. MaryJo in MD
